I studied for a Specialist degree in astronomy at Saint Petersburg State University, and was later awarded a Ph.D. from the same university for my research into the topic of the structure and dynamics of edge-on galaxies.
My research interests stem from my goal of studying galaxy formation and evolution. See details in here.
